Snowy Owls Near Brooks Alberta

With reports of snowy in great numbers east of Calgary on Saturday, I decided to go look today for these amazing ! Just west of Brooks Alberta we found a total of 8 snowy ! It was a dull, dark overcast day, with a bit of snow on the ground and in the air.

Standing in the field, we could count 5 at one time but we totaled 8 for the day and all in the same area.

    very nice capture great background, we saw 28 Snowies off of 36 today.
